What is it used for?

PEMF therapy helps reduce pain and inflammation in bones, muscles and joints.

This is why it is particularly indicated and used in case of patients suffering from osteoporosis, arthrosis, arthritis or joint pain. But also for bone consolidation after fractures, for reabsorption of bone oedema and in many other cases.

Benefits

The beneficial effects of PEMF therapy mainly relate to its ability to reduce pain and inflammation. This almost always coincides with the possibility of regaining one’s mobility and with it the serenity of being able to return to one’s daily activities.

In addition to its analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect, PEMF therapy helps to reactivate the blood circulation, in particular the microcirculation, to improve scarring and tissue recovery processes and to relax the muscles.

More about PEMF!

PEMF therapy, which stands for Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapy, is a non-invasive that mimics the natural occurring frequencies of the earth, but with increased intensity. This therapy has been found to have benefits, including but not limited to increased metabolism, circulation, and range of motion, as well as decreased swelling and regulation of the Circadian Rhythm. Additionally, PEMF therapy has been shown to decrease recovery time from injury by up to half, making it a highly effective treatment option. But how does PEMF therapy work, you may ask? The magnetic pulses from the loops that you may have seen in pictures target the cells in the body via magnetic flux, assisting in the sodium potassium pump by increasing the transmembrane potential to increase transfer of nutrients into the cell and waste out of the cell, also known as the Krebs cycle. Furthermore, PEMF therapy facilitates the movement of lymph without using energy or creating waste, and better mobilizes the fascia, which is comprised of elastin, collagen, and ground substance. PEMF therapy has been found to have a positive impact on numerous bodily functions, including proper blood flow, transfer of oxygen, instruction from the central nervous system, production of hormones, increased immune system, inhibition of growth of tumor cells, gut mobility, production of energy, and transfer of nutrients. And these are just a few of the many benefits that PEMF therapy can provide. It is important to note that PEMF therapy is FDA approved, making it a safe and effective treatment option for those seeking to improve their overall health and well-being.
